The Day of Atonement is the most holy day in all Israel; the day that foreshadowed the Messiah entering into the heavenlies, into the awesome, dreadful presence of the Almighty God, to present Himself as the atonement for the sins of the world.  

The blood of goats and calves have never been able to atone for the sins of mankind, but the blood of the Son of God – incarnate in the Messiah – wonderfully and magnificently appeased the infinite holiness of God, and transformed His wrath into marvelous mercy and compassion.  The Day of Atonement foreshadowed this event – the Messiah’s atonement for mankind.  It is the most significant event in all human history – it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.  Join us to learn more about the Messiah’s work… through the Day of Atonement.
